1. Who we are
Lamanita Travel is the trade name of VISIT PERU NOW E.I.R.L., RUC 20602248071, a tour operator based at Calle Los Cactus C-13, Urb. La Florida, Cusco, Perú. You can reach us at info@lamanitatravel.com, by phone at +51 984 110 808 (Peru) or +1 385-371-8745 (US), or on WhatsApp.
2. Our services
We organize private tours and multi-day trips in Peru: guides, private transport, entrance tickets, train tickets, hotels and domestic flights, as described on each tour page or in your written quote. Each tour page and quote lists exactly what is included and what is not. Anything not listed as included is not part of the price.
3. Prices and quotes
- Prices are in US dollars (USD), per person, and depend on the size of your group. Tour pages show the price for each group size.
- Written quotes are valid for 7 days and are subject to availability when we book.
- If an official fee changes before your booking is confirmed (for example Machu Picchu or train tickets), we tell you before you pay.
4. Booking and payment
- Send us your booking request from the tour page, by email or on WhatsApp. Sending a request is free.
- We confirm availability and send you a written quote.
- To book, send us each traveler's full name exactly as on the passport, passport number, nationality and date of birth. Machu Picchu, the Inca Trail and the trains require these details.
- A 50% deposit confirms your booking. You can pay by bank transfer, Western Union or credit or debit card.
- The remaining 50% is paid in cash (US dollars) on your arrival in Cusco, unless we agree another method in writing.
- Once we receive your deposit and details, we buy your tickets, book your services and send you a written confirmation with your vouchers.
5. Changes and cancellations
Changes, cancellations and refunds follow our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
6. Machu Picchu, the Inca Trail and the trains
- Tickets are issued in each traveler's name by Peru's Ministry of Culture, SERNANP and the train companies. They cannot be transferred to another person, and their rules on changes and refunds apply.
- Bring your original passport: it is checked at the entrance and on the train.
- Entry times, circuits and daily capacity are set by the authorities and can change. If a circuit is not available, we offer you the closest one.
7. Your travel documents and health
- You are responsible for having a valid passport (at least 6 months' validity), any visa your nationality needs, and the vaccines required for your route (for example, yellow fever for some Amazon areas).
- Cusco and other places we visit are at high altitude. Please tell us about any health condition that may affect your trip so we can plan around it.
- We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers medical care, evacuation and trip cancellation.
8. Our responsibility
We are responsible for providing the services in your confirmation as described. Airlines, train companies, hotels and the authorities that manage the sites apply their own conditions. We are not responsible for delays, cancellations or changes caused by them, by weather, strikes, road or site closures, or other events outside our control, but we will always help you find the best alternative. If this happens, the Cancellation & Refund Policy explains what we refund.
9. During your trip
Please follow your guide's safety instructions and the rules of each site. Your guide may adjust the order or timing of the day for safety, weather or traffic. If something isn't as expected, tell your guide or write to us right away so we can fix it while you are still traveling.
10. Complaints
If you are not satisfied, write to us at info@lamanitatravel.com. You can also register a claim in our Libro de Reclamaciones (Complaints Book), as required by Peruvian law. We answer within 15 business days.
11. Privacy
We use your personal data only to prepare and run your trip. See our Privacy Policy.
12. Applicable law
These conditions are governed by the laws of Peru, including the Consumer Protection and Defense Code (Law 29571).
